Thuemmel & Uhle - Oregon DUII Lawyers

Bob Thuemmel and Bill Uhle have each contributed to the advancement of the law in Oregon in areas of DUII, vehicular assault and homicide defense. Each have spoken at multiple CLE presentations on issues surrounding the defense and appeal of criminal cases. They have written for and edited leading Oregon publications on the topic of impaired driving, including the DUII Trial Notebook, prepared by the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and are recognized by their peers in "Oregon's Best Lawyers," "The Best Lawyers in America" and "Super Lawyers" legal publications as outstanding in their field.

Treat the Client Fairly

We have always felt that it is important to give every client the quality of representation that we would each want for ourselves, or close friends and family members.

We will always offer to meet with you and explain the law or evaluate your case for no charge. Once hired, we will make all court appearances and explain to you any options you have to settle your case before trial. However, we will face a trial decision realistically and explain to you the pros and cons of a trial in your case.

Know The Law

Not every lawyer does this, but we take the time to keep updated on any legal developments in our practice areas statewide as well as across the country. More and more often, the law itself does not provide "technicalities" that can be used to escape a charge, but we stay up to date on what benefits the law does provide in the criminal case, and we will use every one of them that fit in your defense.
