Bill Uhle has over 30 years experience in Driving under the Influence, Vehicular Assault and Vehicular Homicide cases. Bill has advanced the law in Oregon in these areas of defense. He has argued cases in the Oregon Court of Appeals and Oregon Supreme Court which resulted in changes to the law in the areas of prior convictions, evidence, speedy trial, search and seizure, breath testing, license suspensions and racial prejudice in jury selection. He has tried approximately 1,000 cases in 30 of Oregon’s 36 counties (the vast majority of which were jury trials). He has appealed cases resulting in over 30 published opinions by the Oregon Court of Appeals and the Oregon Supreme Court.

Bill was one of the original authors of the DUII Trial Notebok, used for educating lawyers in DUII defense. He edited the updated DUII Trial Notebook in 2005. He has been a speaker at multiple Continuing Legal Education presentations for the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Oregon State Bar, and the Oregon Municipal Judges Association.
Bill is recognized by his peers in the “Super Lawyers” legal publication as outstanding in his field. He understands the legal, financial and emotional problems that a Driving Under the Influence causes.
Bill has been married for 26 years; has practiced at the same office address, with the same law partner for 23 years and has had the same legal assistant for 30 years.
